Kinnaur is located on the Indo-Tibet border. Situated at a distance of 235 km from Shimla, Kinnaur hosts the views of Zanskar Valley, snow-draped Dhauladar range, Chitkul - The last village on the indo-Tibet border and have Satluj, Baspa and Spiti rivers meandering through it.
The valleys of Kinnaur are also one of the most sought after camping destinations in India, Sangla Valley. Apple orchards camps, camping on the river Baspa and Satluj are some of the scenic destinations to pitch your tents for an amazing camping experience.
Day 1 – CHANDIGARH-SHIMLA (120 kms/4hours)
we will receive you at the Chandigarh Bus Stand or Railway Station or Airport and take you to Shimla, the Queen of Hills. You will reach Shimla, after a 4-hour journey, by the evening. Next is checking in at the hotel and then sightseeing at Shimla. Attractions include The Mall and Kalibari Temple. Later, you will have dinner in the hotel and an enjoyable overnight stay.
Day 2 - SHIMLA-RAMPUR-SARAHAN (175 kms/5-6 hours)
You can enjoy Sarahan drive, the gateway to Kinnaur enroute crossing the famous hill resorts of Kufri & Narkanda. Continue drive along the Satluj river and from Jeori climb upto Sarahan. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit the famous Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 – SARAHAN - KALPA (107 kms/ 4 hours )
After breakfast travel to Kalpa. Kalpa is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of Kinner Kailash Mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. After fresh up Kalpa Sightseeing by covering Roghi village which has traditionally built Kinnauri houses.. Overnight styay at hotel.
Day 4– KALPA- SANGLA (51 kms/2 hours)
After breakfast travel to Sangla which has one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal. At Sangla , places to visit will be Kamru village, Kamru Fort and a temple within it dedicated to Kamaksha Devi. Later check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 – SANGLA –LOCAL In Sangla
After breakfast an excursion visiting the picturesque village of Chitkul. Drive back to Sangla. Rest of day free to relax or make walks to nearby Batseri village. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 – SANGLA-SHIMLA (237 kms/ 7-8 hours)
After breakfast travelling from Sangla to Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 7 – SHIMLA CHANDIGARH (120 kms/ 4 hours)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive back to Chandigarh Airport/ Railway station.
